Battle Mountain Nevada 2013 Events

There are plenty of special Nevada events all year long at Battle Mountain. A virtual sportsman's paradise, many of these Nevada events like the annual Chukar Tournament, celebrate everything the land has to offer. The Chukar Tournament is one of our most popular Nevada events and features a dinner, souvenir hat and a ticket for an ATV drawing and other great prizes. The hunt takes place from sunrise to sunset.

For those who love Nevada events with speed, there's the Stock Car Silver Cup and the Pony Express Open Road Race where cars race on closed highways. Cars compete in solo runs against the clock in speed classes ranging from 85 MPH to 170 MPH.

The World Human Powered Speed Challenge is another one of our fun events. This competition pits man and technology against the forces of air resistance and friction. Cultural celebrations include the Basque Club Winter Festival and the summer Cinco de Mayo Festival, honoring Battle Mountain’s rich heritage.
